VICE PRESIDENT OF OPERATIONS
Tamer Elattar is VP of Operations for KM Hotels, an award-winning hotel management and development company in tune with the changing needs of its valued guests. He has been an executive leader in the hospitality industry for over two decades. Mr. Elattar’s acute knowledge of operations strategies across many brands enables KM Hotels to maintain a market leader presence everywhere we do business. Mr. Elattar brings over 30 years of experience to our leadership team.
Mr. Elattar has managed and led teams under many brands including: Hilton, Affinia, Marriottt, Choice, and IHG. Mr. Elattar has served guests at hotels across the globe and in multiple languages. He has been recognized by receiving manu awards, including: Affinia Lead Director Award (2012), Hilton Commitment Award (2009), Hilton Manager of the Year Award (2005).
Mr. Elattar earned a bachelor’s degree from Cairo University.

CONTROLLER
Teresa graduated Magna Cum Laude from Roanoke College with a degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting. Prior to joining KM Hotels in 2013, Teresa was an employee of several CPA firms and served as the Patel family’s CPA for almost fifteen years. She brings her thirty years of accounting, tax and managerial experience to the company. Teresa is in good standing with the Virginia Board of Accountancy and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Virginia Society of Public Accountants. Teresa has also served in leadership at her church and in her community for over twenty-five years.

VICE PRESIDENT OF CONSTRUCTION & DEVELOPMENTAnil Patel brings over twenty-five years of construction and development experience to KM Hotels. A Virginia Tech graduate, Anil owned a general contracting company with a focus on hospitality projects prior to joining KM Hotels. He built a number of hotels for the KM Hotels principals prior to becoming a part of the team. During his career he has built and overseen construction on dozens of hotels across the mid-Atlantic. In addition to ground up construction, Anil has supervised numerous renovations ranging from minor updates to complete gut renovations, as well as transitioning from one flag to another. Anil also has and continues to own a number of hotels and brings an owner’s perspective and experience to the projects he oversees. In addition to his duties at KM Hotels, Anil serves on the Board of the Burlington School in Burlington, NC and Chairs the Building & Grounds Committee, which oversaw the construction of the new Upper School.

VICE PRESIDENT OF SALES AND REVENUERevenue and Sales professional with over 30 years of experience in all phases of sales, marketing, and advertising.
His career path took a turn in 2004 when he was hired as the Sales Manager of a destination management company in Las Vegas where he negotiated contracts between hotels and fortune 500 companies for major tradeshow all over the United States. That company went from a small start-up to a 15 million dollar business in less than 3 years. In 2013 he met his wife and moved back to his hometown of Fort Wayne, Indiana. After accepting a position in hotel sales he quickly moved up through the ranks to Regional Director of Revenue where he was in charge of sales and revenue for one Choice and three Hilton properties. Recently, he managed revenue for 17 hotels across most of the major brands including Hilton, IHG, Wyndham, and Choice Hotels.

REGIONAL OPERATIONS MANAGERCarter brings over 20 years of hotel experience to the table. His career in hospitality began with Starwood Hotels out of Atlanta, Georgia in food and beverage and sales. He quickly grew through the sales ranks and held Director of Sales roles with Starwood, IHG and Marriott. His career has spread through many brands on the operations side as well both full and limited service brands with Marriott and Hilton. Mostly recently Carter spent 5 of his 10 with MCR Development as a Area Managers based out of Richmond, Virginia.
Carter is also very proud of his degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management from Virginia Tech.

REGIONAL OPERATIONS MANAGER
Ray Ledo is one of our Regional Directors of Operations. As our company grew, vast knowledge of the industry was needed to support our family of hospitality professionals. Ray brings and shares that knowledge with our group exemplifying his long career of over 20 years in hospitality.
Ray’s career has taken him through multiple brands including Marriott, Hilton, IHG, and Choice where he has absorbed all of the training and culture each brand had to offer and has built strong, proud teams with this experience. Ray is a Certified Hospitality Administrator focused on leading our family of hotel operators into their own personal success.
Ray states, “KM is young and growing rapidly. It’s always great to be part of that growth. Just always remember to have fun doing it!!”

REGIONAL OPERATIONAL MANAGER
Richie has over 30 years of hotel experience. Richie’s career progression from line level positions to various levels of hotel management has allowed him to be able to effectively communicate critical goals to hotel leaders and team. His most recent role was a Regional Director of Operations for over 3 years with HP hospitality company. Richie is a forward thinker, he evaluates operations in a system approach and relies on his vast and wide range of situational experiences to correct, improve and strengthen processes.

HOTEL REVENUE MANAGERRebecca Taylor is a Richmond native and Virginia Commonwealth University alumni with degrees in Mass Communications and General Business. Her hospitality journey started as Group Sales and Promotions Coordinator for Kings Dominion Amusement Park. Shortly after, she joined the hotel industry as Leisure Sales Manager at Aikens Group Hotels overseeing multiple Hilton properties. In 2022, she moved her family back to Richmond and started working for KM Hotels as a Director of Sales. Rebecca brings over 8 years of sales experience, has a revenue focused mindset, and puts forth her best efforts in everything she does.
